Express Clamping System™ Features and Benefits

The Wilson Express Clamping System™ is a highly advanced series of punch holders that include a host of unique and innovative features designed to allow you to set up your press brake fast.

Some of the many features include:

  • 16.34" (415mm) long punches and sectionalized punches are loaded by placing them under the clamps and pushing them upward. There is no need to slide them in from the end of the machine
  • Clamps are locked by pushing a removable lever up. No tools are required
  • Clamps are unlocked by pulling the removable locking lever down. Small punch sections may then be removed by pushing inward on the top of the clamps. There is no need to slide them out the end of the machine
  • Clamps are designed to flex to adjust for minor variations in thickness in sectionalized punches and may be removed and reinstalled by hand. This allows them to be removed from units that are not in use, thus eliminating the need to slide 32.87" (835mm) and 16.34" (415mm) long punches out the end of the machine
  • Dual clamping is standard, making it possible to load punches with the relief area facing forward or toward the rear of the machine
  • Front and rear clamps are opened and closed simultaneously when the locking lever is actuated
  • Accepts standard European (Promecam®) style tooling with a safety groove, thus eliminating the need for special tooling
  • Mechanical design does not require expensive hydraulics
  • Available for virtually all makes and models of press brakes in versions with and without adjustment wedges making it possible to utilize a single tooling style throughout all your press brakes
