STORM Plasma Cutting Machine

Exceptional quality and Whitney support in a basic, affordable plasma table. Prices start at only $75,000 for a complete machine capable of cutting up to one inch thick carbon steel.

The standard STORM plasma machine is equipped with the Hypertherm® Powermax 1650 for economical, quality cuts in material up to one inch thick. Optional Hypertherm Systems are: HT 2000 for high quality with increased speeds; HD 3070 for precision and vertical cuts; HD 4070 for speed, flexibility and precision. Optional cutting systems include the SmartPIERCE™ feature which reduces pierce time by 25 percent.

Three STORM table sizes are available – 5 feet x 10 feet, 6 feet x 12 feet, and 6 feet x 20 feet.

Windows™-based control offers complete operator interface for ease of use. Each STORM control includes a parametric shape library, on-board nesting, graphic visualization of the cut path and complete diagnostics in plain English.

The STORM is installed and initial operator training completed by Whitney service staff in only three days.
